French Industrial Bedroom
French Industrial Bedroom
Oh my I have yet another kitchen redo that is sure to give you lots of ideas. I love the way Jamie had made her kitchen FABULOUS!! Here she is to tell us how she did it.
I'm so excited to be here today! I'm Jamie and I blog at So Much Better With Age.
I love, love, love French, vintage and industrial decor. I recently had my kitchen renovated which encompasses all three of those styles.
I'm honored to be sharing my kitchen tour with Cedarhill Farmhouse readers. Of course I absolutely adore Anita's style and have a long time admirer of her blog.
Welcome to my white Industrial Vintage French kitchen.
When we first moved in to our house nearly six years ago, it was very 80s. We did some minor updates but I was longing for my dream kitchen.
I always wanted a large island but the floor plan didn't accommodate one so we made the peninsula look like one.
We renovated the kitchen without changing the floor plan.
I wanted more cupboard space so made room for a sleek Sub-Zero fridge and floor to ceiling cupboards around the built-in microwave.
I love glass front doors in a kitchen. There was a bit of room to add some shelving on the side by the window as well.
I love subway tile. I know it's been overdone like crazy lately but I've loved it for years so I'm good with it for a very long time.
The farmhouse porcelain sink and bridge faucet might be my all time fave part of this kitchen.
At first we didn't tile all of these walls but in the end I decided to just do it! I couldn't be happier with the results.
This butcher block I gave a makeover was a great Craigslist find.
The custom touches were what I worked on with my cabinet maker. I designed every little feature with him.
The eating area has just enough room for a French table and chairs.
The overall look is so white and fresh and well, French!
You can see my whole house tour here.
I hope you enjoyed my new kitchen tour. Next week I'll be posting a source guide so be sure to pop by my blog to check out all the details.
